This is Western-influenced Japanese food.

Mentaiko (salted cod roe spiced with red pepper) is mixed to boiled spaghetti.
Ingredients for Mentaiko sauce are include butter, salt and pepper.
Heavy Cream are also mixed together to enrich the taste of this unique dish.
Some prefer to make sauce lighter.
For that, dashi is used for sauce instead of heavy cream.

There is also Tarako Spaghetti.
This is a spaghetti dish with Tarako sauce instead of Mentaiko sauce.
Tarako is salted cod roe and less spicy than Mentaiko.
